Abstract

This article examines what operational reliability is, which model of reliability analysis is used to determine the margin of safety of radioelectronic systems and what components make it up, the influence of operational factors on the reliability of shipboard radar stations is analyzed. The intensification of the use of the sea fleet leads both to an increase in its number and to an increase in the intensity of navigation on sea routes, especially in the narrows, on the approaches to sea ports and their water areas. In this regard, the globalist world processes of modernization and unification of maritime safety systems (radio communication, navigation, environmental and fire safety systems, etc.) have taken over maritime transport in the last twenty years. In turn, the complexity, responsibility and uniqueness of the tasks solved by radio-electronic equipment on sea transport at the present time determine high requirements for them, an important role among which belongs to quantitative requirements for reliability. The versatility and complexity of operation make it difficult to create unequivocal recommendations for the operation of ship radio electronics.
